TRÆKANT is made from excess wood and leather materials from a furniture manufacturer, with a focus on adaptation to needs and practical storage.
TRÆKANT is a versatile design, developed in collaboration with Iben Cecilie Buch Nielsen.
This table/seating furniture is created with a sustainable approach. It is made from excess materials from a furniture manufacturer, with a focus on adaptation to needs and practical storage. The furniture can switch between a table top and a stool as needed, and the part that is not used can be stored on the side of the furniture.
TRÆKANT can easily be packed flat, making it only 11 cm high and 53 cm wide. It's pratical to store and assembling is easy.
This project from 3rd semester at Design School Kolding was centered on strengthening our skills in the wood workshop and did not focus primarily on the design process.

The prototype is built from leftover materials (wood and leather) from industrial production.
